BRIJ VS. SCANOVA, UNIQODE, BITLY, & FLOWCODE

Get more from every QR scan

Scanova, Uniqode, Bitly, and Flowcode help you generate a code and count a scan. Brij is what happens after the scan, turning that moment into verified, deterministic customer signal sent straight to Meta, Google, TikTok, your CRM, and your email/SMS stack.

The difference

QR generators stop at the scan. That’s the problem.

How data capture tools work

QR code → scan count → dead end

How Brij works

QR scan → verified purchase data → signal that fuels your tech stack

01Acquire

Turn anonymous buyers into known customers

A shopper buys your product at retail, then scans a Brij QR code to register a warranty, enter a rebate, or upload a receipt. Brij turns that anonymous buyer into a known customer profile with emails, phone numbers, purchase data, and preferences.

02Analyze

Unlock retailer and consumer behavior intelligence

Brij processes every scan, registration, and receipt to verify the purchase and build rich customer profiles with basket composition, retailer behavior, purchase frequency, and cohort trends. See exactly who your buyers are and what they do next.

03Activate

Drive LTV and lower CAC with smarter marketing

The verified customer signal syncs automatically to Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo, Attentive, and your full marketing stack. Trigger personalized cross-sell emails, improve ad targeting with offline buyer data, build retargeting audiences, and close the data gap.

Brij vs. data capture tools

Everyone in this table can make a QR code. Only one of them can tell you a purchase happened.

Why it matters

Brij is what the QR code unlocks

A QR code is just the entry point. What matters is the customer record behind it, the purchase you can prove, and the signal that reaches the platforms you actually spend money on.

01

Deterministic data, not another probabilistic guess

A scan count is not proof of a sale. Scanova, Uniqode, Bitly, and Flowcode can tell you a code was scanned or a lead form was filled out. That’s engagement data, and it’s probabilistic at best.

Brij verifies the purchase itself: receipt matching, retailer transaction data, or warranty registration, tied deterministically to a real, confirmed sale, and sends that event straight into your ad platforms and CRM.

Brij verifying a retail purchase from an uploaded receipt
Deterministic
Verified purchases tied to a real buyer, not a modeled path.
Receipt-level
SKU, retailer, price, and the full basket are all passed through.
Real-time
The event fires when the purchase is verified, not weeks later.
Offline and online
Retail, marketplace, and DTC purchase data in one view.
02

Feed Meta, Google, and TikTok the sales they can’t see

Brij Signal sends verified offline and marketplace purchases into Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads through each platform’s Conversions API, so the algorithm is optimizing against your total sales, not just the 20% slice that happens on your DTC site.

The impact shows up two ways: immediately, more of your real conversions get attributed, so reported ROAS rises; and over time, more verified signal means better-trained algorithms, and better-trained algorithms mean sharper targeting and optimization.

Immediate
More of your real conversions get attributed, so reported ROAS rises.
Over time
More verified signal trains the algorithm, so targeting and optimization sharpen.
Every channel
Retail, marketplace, and DTC purchases land in the same conversion feed.
03

Give your CRM the 80% of customers it’s never seen

Verified, enriched buyer records — identity plus purchase context — flow directly into the CRM and lifecycle tools you already run, like Klaviyo or HubSpot.

That means your retention program can finally target retail and marketplace buyers, not just the customers who bought on your DTC site.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What brands ask when they’re weighing Brij against a QR generator or data capture tool.

Doesn’t Bitly or Flowcode already send data to my ad platforms?
Some QR tools support a client-side pixel or a basic CRM/CDP push — that’s engagement data (a scan, a lead, a page view). Brij sends deterministic, purchase-verified events through each platform’s server-side Conversions API, tied to a real, confirmed sale.
Do I have to rip out my current QR tool?
Brij includes its own QR and link generation as part of every branded experience, so most brands replace their standalone generator entirely. But if you’re mid-contract elsewhere, Brij can run alongside your existing tool while you migrate.
What counts as a “verified” purchase?
A receipt upload, matched retailer transaction data, or a warranty or product registration.

Each one is matched deterministically to a real identity, not inferred or modeled.
Is my customer data still mine?
Yes. Brij is brand-owned, not a walled garden.

Verified signal flows into your own ad accounts and your own CRM, not a third-party panel.
